“My husband commented that he thought you were going to faint when you spread out the rug to inspect it prior to taking it to the shop for cleaning. The rug was coated in a fine, cobwebby, white mold. One of the corners had been eroded by automobile battery acid and patched with electrical tape. The rug was a gift and had been retrieved a few days earlier from a basement that was dark and damp. I did not realize the extent of damage. You felt that after cleaning and restoration, there would be a rug worth keeping. And that is what Happened.
The rug is now soft, clean and beautiful. The corner patch was done very nicely. Although it is a different rug, the colors are similar and the borders were carefully aligned. I appreciate the workmanship involved in the cleaning, patching, refraining and padding of the rug.
